At NV Medi Spa, we use two different machines. These machines are the Soprano Ice machine and the Candela machine. The Soprano Ice is a laser hair removal system known for its comfort and efficiency. Using in-motion technology and cooling features, it gradually heats hair follicles, offering a more comfortable experience. The Candela device use advanced technologies to target hair follicles. The laser energy is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicles, leading to their destruction. This process delays future hair growth, providing a longer-term solution.
For the best results, the Soprano Ice treatments need at least 6 – 8 sessions for permanent hair removal. This can vary depending on how quickly your hair grows.
For the best results, the Candela device needs 10 treatments, with maintenance treatments every 2-3 months for permanent hair reduction.
These two machines can do a full body treatment, including face. The head, eyes and eyebrows are not included.
Laser is safe, but not guaranteed. For optimum results delay laser treatments until after pregnancy. Ointments should not be used for laser treatments during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Make sure to shave 24 hours before your appointment. An additional cost will be added if the aesthetician has to shave for you. Avoid tanning before your appointment. Don't wear makeup, lotions, oils, or deodorant before your appointment. Avoid physical activity before your appointment. Skin that is sunburnt or peeling can't be treated.
Avoid scratching or picking the skin after your appointment. Avoid exercise for up to 2 hours after your appointment. Avoid sun or tanning until a few days after appointment.
Treating spider vein treatments is with laser light treatments. The laser helps veins fade. The laser treatment involves using pulses of laser light to constrict the blood vessels that are causing the leg veins. Surrounding tissues and outer skin are unaffected by the treatment.
No anesthesia or pain medication is required. Our lasers deliver precise doses of energy to the targeted veins in a series of quick pulses. There is little discomfort and you will be able to get back to your normal activities after your appointment.
Avoid tanning or sun exposure four weeks prior to treatment. Avoid aspirin and Ibuprofen for one week prior to your treatment. Inform the aesthetician if you are taking blood thinners. Avoid alcohol for 2 days prior to treatment. Don't forget to store ice packs in your freezer for after your procedure.
Your skin may potentially be red or swollen for 2-3 days after treatment. Use cold compresses several times an hour to help ease the swelling.
Women who are pregnant should not come to get a vascular treatment. It is better to wait until you are done breastfeeding, but if your veins are painful, you should get the treatment.
Make sure your healthcare provider has a current list of the medications and supplements you take. Alcohol makes you more inclined to redness and bruising. Don’t drink for 24 hours before a procedure.
Don’t rub or put pressure on the treatment area for 12 hours. Stay upright for three to four hours. Avoid physical activity for 24 hours.
Botox lasts about three to four months. Dermal fillers last around six to twelve months.
It is not recommended to have this treatment while you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
